Who: Junior, Cadette, Seniors and Ambaassadors

What: A two-hour training. Juniors who plan on working on their Bronze
Award are welcome to join us for the first 30 minutes.

When: Saturday, December 1st , 3:00 pm-5:00 pm.

Where: Camp Wesumkee (34200 Overseas Highway, Big Pine Key FL)

Why: This is the prerequisite training for all Girl Scouts prior to beginning
the proposal process for their Silver and Gold Awards as mandated by
GSUSA.

Who: Daisy and Brownies

What: Learn all about pottery, starting with shaping it by hand and finishing
with painting it with a rainbow of colors. Connect with environmental products,
since clay comes from the earth!

When: December 5th & 7th from 6pm-7pm.

Where: Clayworks, 1696 Northeast 164th Street, North Miami Bch, FL 33162

Why: Girls will earn part of the Potter Badge and Zinni Petal .

What: i-Girls STEM Initiative TECHNOLOGY Event

When: Saturday, December 8th from 1pm-4pm

Where: South Dade TBA

Why:Girls will earn a STEM Patch and a certificate. Most Importantly girls will be inspired
and encourage to become the next generation of inovators in the STEM-related fields. To
complete the program the girls MUST attend an iGirl STEM Initiative-Series then participate
in an iGirl STEM Initiative-Event. Non-Girl Scouts will receive FREE membership

What: Learn about dolphins and other marine mammals, aquatic ecosystems
including mangroves and coral reefs, and the importance of marine
conservation. Learn about dolphin assisted therapy.

When: Friday, December 21st at 2pm - 3:30pm (girls can explore till 5pm)

Where: Island Dolphin Care, (150 Lorelane Place, Key Largo, FL 33037)

Why: Girls will earn parts of Pets Badges.

The 64th Annual Jr. Orange Bowl Parade, "Sailing to New Adventures", will be floating through the heart of Coral Gables. Created especially for kids and perfect for families, the parade features talented marching bands, colorful floats, community groups, and creative parade units. This dazzling spectacle will be enjoyed by all!
